Tougles is a handheld, user-controlled tool that helps people reposition food inside the mouth toward and between the teeth for chewing. It fills a critical gap in oral rehabilitation: a way to perform an essential eating task that survivors and clinicians have struggled to find a tool for. Users report broader food choices, easier mealtimes and renewed quality of life.

After a glossectomy left me unable to manipulate food with my tongue, I developed Tougles as a practical way to perform that missing movement. What began as a solution for my own daily life is now available to others navigating similar challenges.
 

I stand with those who, every day, experience the disadvantage of not truly being understood or seen, and I recognize and celebrate our collective perseverance, resourcefulness, and the optimism we continue to find within ourselves.
